Charles Russell Linkhorst, 86, of Lake Hauto and formerly of Tamaqua, died at home on Thursday, July 27, 2023. He was the husband of Jean F. (Weyhenmeyer) Linkhorst with whom he would have celebrated 64 years of marriage this August. 
Born in Tamaqua on January 17, 1937, Charlie was a son of the late William George and Dorothy Sage (Lewis) Linkhorst. A 1954 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he served in the Army during the Korean War. Charlie had been employed as the supervisor of plant protection and security at the former Atlas Powder Company until his retirement in 1988. He held membership in many associations and organizations for which he served in numerous officer positions. These memberships included life membership in the VFW Drake Wear Post # 589, Hazleton; life membership in the American Hose Company #1, Tamaqua; 60-year membership in the American Legion C.H. Berry Post #173, Tamaqua; life membership in the B.P.OE. #592, Tamaqua; membership in the Promised Land Sportsman’s Association; life membership in the Keystone Chiefs of Police Association; membership in the Tamaqua Rifle & Pistol Club; and membership in the West Penn Rod and Gun Club. 
In addition, Charlie was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua. 
He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Debra Linkhorst of Coaldale, Ritchie Linkhorst and his wife Sherrie of Tamaqua, Lauri Price and her husband Kevin of Lake Hauto, Chrissy King and her husband David of Coaldale, and Scott Linkhorst and his wife Stacey of New Ringgold; grandchildren, Jennifer Schade and her husband Cody, Zackary King and his wife Emma, Ashley Edwards and her husband Nick, Jaime Montecalvo and her husband Nick, Samantha Leiby, Derek Linkhorst and his wife Amber, and Amber Hill and her husband Derek; great grandchildren, Courtney Postupack, Jackson Overton, Benjamin Schade, Owen Montecalvo, Mason Linkhorst, Charlie Leiby, and Jacob Leiby. Charlie was predeceased by granddaughter, Jessica Linkhorst, grandson, Justin King, great grandson, Finn Montecalvo, and brothers, John Linkhorst and William Linkhorst. 
Services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, 501 West Broad Street will follow services. Call 6-8 PM on Sunday, July 30 and 9-10 AM on Monday, July 31 at the funeral home.

"Frankie" W. Keller, 37 of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, at his home.

Born on July 17, 1986, in Lebanon, PA, he was a son of Frank M and Norma Walker Keller of Pine Grove.

Frankie was a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School and completed the Plumbers Apprenticeship with Local 520. He was employed as a Pump & Hydraulics Technician for Axiom, in Schuylkill Haven and was very well liked by his co-workers.

Frankie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his Wife, Fiona Hendrix Keller, a Son, Finnigan J Keller, two Daughters, Piper Viola Keller and Tulaigh Elizabeth Keller; Brother, Dusty "Jake" and wife Jessica Keller of Fredericksburg, a sister, Sara wife of Matt Barlup of Tremont; Nieces and Nephews and Many Friends.

All Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family, c/o Frank & Norma Keller, 1175 Suedberg Road, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963, in his memory. .

Russell E. Williams, of Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp.

Born in Coaldale the son of the late William, and Mary (Ehle) Williams. Russell was also predeceased by sisters, Mary Jane Masters, Shirley Caley, Margaret Stahler; brothers, Robert T. Williams, William R. Williams, and Henry W. Williams.

Surviving are; his daughters, Tammy Turpin wife of Timothy of Lehighton, Tracy Burke wife of John; brothers, James H. Williams, Thomas M. Williams; sister, Joyce Henry; grandchildren, Megan Dunstan wife of Matt, Amanda, Brianna, Jenna, and Alexa Turpin; great grandchildren, Jameson, Evan, and Vincent Dunstan. Many nieces and nephews also survive Russell.

A graduate of the former Lansford High School, Russell retired after 30 years from Ford Motor Company in Metuchen New Jersey. Russell was a devoted, and doting father, and pop-pop. Every Sunday his family would gather at his home for a terrific meal and to experience his love of baking. Russell was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lansford

Dawn Hetherington, of Zion Grove, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, at the age of 74, following a short stay at the Glenbrook Rehab and Nursing Center in Berwick. Dawn was born on September 8, 1948, to her loving parents, Claude and Florence (Monks) Hetherington.

Dawn found solace and a deep connection to her faith at the Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church in Ringtown, where she was a devoted member.

Dawn's life centered around her passion for farming, working tirelessly on her family's farm. In addition to her love for the land, she had an extraordinary talent for flowers and was a gifted florist. She honed her skills while working at Gerri's Flower Shop in Shenandoah and later at Floral Array in Zion Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Florence Hetherington; siblings, Kenneth Hetherington, and Myrtle Hetherington and by her husband, Elson Sommers.

Dawn leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Sherri, wife of Bob Dombrosky from Shenandoah; and her son, to whom she was a devoted caregiver to, Jonathan from Ashland. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Cindy, wife of George Huss from Ringtown; and stepson Greg Sommers, and his wife Sue of Indiana.

She is also survived by her loving companion, Richard Wagner of Shenandoah

Her memory will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, including Aaron Dombrosky and his wife Brittany, Joshua Dombrosky, Ahna Huss and her fiancée Ryan McDonald, Luke Sommers, and Tessa Sommers. She also leaves behind a great grandson, Rowan McDonald.

Dawn is survived by her brother Lawrence (Wes) Hetherington and sister Claudia Dutrow, along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing, which will be held from 9:30 am until 11 AM on Wednesday, August 2nd at the Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church on West Main Street in Ringtown. A funeral service to honor Dawn's life will take place at 11 AM at the church. Following the service, Dawn will be laid to rest at the Methodist Cemetery in Ringtown.

The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown, is honored to assist Dawn's family during their time of need.
