One of Abhishek Bachchan’s finest movies has to be Delhi 6. The actor revisited his movie in an interview recently and spoke about its ending. The film was directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and starred Sonam Kapoor, the late Rishi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman and Divya Dutta. Delhi 6 has two endings, the one that was shown in theatres shows Bachchan’s character Roshan coming back to life after meeting his grandfather in heaven and another ending shows Roshan’s death.
In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Bachchan has revealed that Rishi Kapoor was not happy with the other ending. "Originally, Roshan was supposed to die. And Chintu uncle threw a tantrum about the ending saying, 'How can he die? You have to show hope' and I just had a flight to catch."
"I realised there was no difference between Chintu uncle before the camera rolled and when it rolled after. What was his actual coffee mug just became the prop and he just carried on. And I said, 'wow'," Bachchan added about Kapoor’s performance. More on: Delhi 6, Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor
